Miss Earth Belize Pageant Director
Shiemicka Lashanne Richardson
National Director for Miss Earth Belize
Shiemicka Lashanne Richardson was born in the Bronx, NY, and raised between the Bronx and Belize. Her love for "the jewel" country led to her making her pageant debut and winning the title of Miss Belize Queen of the Bay New York. After that, she placed 3rd runner up at Miss New York USA, before representing Belize at Miss Universe in 2000. Soon after, Shiemicka began her coaching career, and her first client acquired the crown. Shiemicka found her strength in building confidence and self-esteem in young women so they could be the best version of themselves. Shiemicka spent some of her time on TV and movie screens. She secured her Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the Actors Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) membership. After that, she was 2nd runner-up at Mrs. New York America. Her skills were recognized, and she was tapped to be the inaugural Director of New York and New Jersey's Perfect Model Competition from 2008 to 2020, where she has had several of her titleholders become national and international Queens. Shiemicka's experience has prepared her to embark upon this new global journey and bring another crown back home to Belize.
Shiemicka currently serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy at a New York nonprofit. She has served as the Executive Producer of “Taking the Stage” a Talent Showcase for the past 13 years. Here she has raised funds needed yearly to create an outlet for children in foster care, developmentally disabled adults, and children in early childhood education to showcase their talents through the performing arts. Most recently, Shiemicka received her Master’s Degree in Public Relations Management from Kent State University. In addition to her academic studies, she has attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Weist-Barron School of Television, and Penny Templeton Studios, where she studied acting. Shiemicka is a Certified Wisdom/Life Coach for children and teens through the Adventures in Wisdom™ Life Coaching Program. As she empowers children and teens one story at a time, she works to build their confidence and help them achieve their dreams in pageantry and their personal/professional lives.
As Shiemicka continues to help young women build their self-esteem and brand, she will also be promoting the Miss Earth brand. She will continue to help women make bold moves and pursue their passion for reaching new heights in their careers. As the National Director, Shiemicka and the next Miss Earth Belize will be working to promote Beauties for a Cause.
